Internal – Groups that are created within IBM® EMM using the security user interface. These users are authenticated through IBM® EMM.
|
|
External – IBM® EMM groups that are mapped to groups in the external system. This synchronization occurs only if IBM® EMM has been configured to integrate with the external server. Examples of eternal servers are LDAP and web access control servers. Note that a group referred to as an external group in this guide is one that is actually created in IBM® EMM but is mapped to an external system.
