To select more than one package from a single Extract process
1.
Create a batch flowchart in Campaign.
For more information on creating a flowchart in a campaign, see the IBM® UnicaCampaign User’s Guide.

Add an Extract process to the flowchart.
3.
Follow instructions in To select the package that contains the optimized contacts, but instead of selecting one package from which you want to retrieve optimized contacts, select all packages to be processed in the same post-optimization session. Remember that the audience IDs treated in each package must be mutually exclusive (that is, each audience ID must be treated only in a single package).

Select the field from which you want to extract optimized contacts.

You will use this same field in the Segment process to segment audience IDs back into their original packages.

From the Extract tab of the Extract process, select a field in the Candidate Fields section.

Click Add.
The field populates the Fields to Extract section.

Click OK.
6.
Add a Segment process to the flowchart and connect the Extract process to the Segment process.
7.
Right click on the Extract process and select Run > Test Run (or Save and Run) Selected Process.
The Extract process runs and communicates information to the Segment process.
8.
Double-click the Segment process.
The Segment tab appears.
9.
From the drop-down list in the Input field, select the Extract process.
10.
Select Segment by Field.
11.
Select the field by which you want to segment audience IDs back into their original packages from the Segment by Field drop-down list.
The Segment by Field list is a list of fields from the Extract table.
The Profile window appears.
12.
Select the packages that you want to segment and click Close.
The packages that will be segmented populate the Segment Name field.
13.
Select the Create Extract tables checkbox.
14.
Complete the Extract tab.

Select the Target Data Source.

Select the fields to include in the Extract table.
15.
Click OK.
16.
Direct each package into its own contact process (for example, the Mail List or Call List process).
