Interpreting the Promotion Response Analysis Graphs
The Promotion Response Analysis graphs are a graphical depiction of the IBM® Omni-Channel Merchandising econometric models. They communicate how a product, Demand Group, Line Group, or category is expected to respond to changes in promotion lever and discounts.
*
Promotion Segmentation chart - Points on the scatter plot show how the lift for the selected product, Demand Group, Line Group, or category compares to the other items for the selected promotion lever and discount level.
*
SKU Lift graph - Elasticity curves show how the selected product’s volume responds to different promotion levers and discount changes.
*
Demand Group Lift (after Cannibalization) graph - Elasticity curves show the cannibalistic effects on the other products in the same Demand Group for the different promotion levers and discount changes.
