Interpreting the Price Response Analysis graphs
The Price Response Analysis graphs are a graphical depiction of the IBM® Omni-Channel Merchandising econometric models. They communicate how a product, Demand Group, or Line Group is expected to respond to changes in base price.
*
Base Price Lift Segmentation chart - Points on the scatter plot show how an individual product, Demand Group, or Line Group compares to others in the category for the selected base price change and response metric.
*
Price Response - Non-Cannibalistic graph - Elasticity curves show how the selected product’s volume responds to base price changes.
*
Price Response Cannibalistic graph - Elasticity curves show how the selected product’s volume responds to base price changes and the cannibalistic effects on the other products in the same Demand Group.
