Upgrade Interact API

After you have upgraded your runtime servers, you may need to rebuild your Interact API implementation, depending on the following conditions:

If you upgraded your runtime servers from Interact 7.5x to the current release, you must rebuild your Unica® Interact API implementation.

If you upgraded your runtime servers from Interact 8.x, you do not have to rebuild your Interact API implementation.

Previous versions of the Interact API are backwards-compatible with the new version of the Interact API.

If you rebuild your Interact API implementation, make sure you are running against the new interact_client.jar located in the lib directory of your Interact runtime environment installation.
