Configuring Opportunity Detection after deployment

After you deploy Opportunity Detection, you must configure the Opportunity Detection design and runtime environments. Configuring these environments completes a basic installation of Opportunity Detection.

Opportunity Detection also has properties on the Configuration page that complete important functions that you can optionally adjust. See the IBM® Opportunity Detection Administrator's Guide or the context help for the properties to learn more about what they do and how to set them.

After deploying Opportunity Detection, you must configure the following elements:

Server group. To configure a server group, go to Settings > Opportunity Detection Settings > Server Group . See Opportunity Detection Administration Guide for more information.

Audience level. To configure an audience level, go to Settings > Opportunity Detection Settings > Audience Level . See Opportunity Detection Administration Guide for more information.

Table and file connector. To configure a table and file connector, go to Settings > Opportunity Detection Settings > Server Group. See Opportunity Detection Administration Guide for more information.

URLs. You must configure the URLs for the following services if you have changed the port:

StreamsRemoteControlWebService

InteractConnector

InteractDesignService

To configure URLs, go to Settings > Configuration > Opportunity Detection > System .

Restart the Web Application Server after making all the changes.

After deploying Opportunity Detection, you must also configure data sources for Opportunity Detection. To configure the data sources, go to Settings > Opportunity Detection Settings > Data Sources.

Starting the Opportunity Detection Run Time server

You must start the Run Time server after you have deployed and configured . Complete the following steps to start the server where Run Time is installed:
