Understanding the report flow
The report generally lays out the components on the page so that event flow is easy to read. It separates event generating components from non-event generating components by grouping the auxiliary components (such as Math, Select, and Qualifier) along the top of the report and grouping event generating components (such as Simple, Container Manipulator, and Pattern) along the bottom with the event flow. The components and connectors in the report have distinct shapes, which are provided by the stencil that is installed with Detect.
