Detect
uses three types of data files.
Transaction Data
Profile Data
Database Lookup Tables
Detect
processes data based on an entity association, a common key that associates related data sources. Entity examples are a Customer ID, an Account ID, a Household ID.
The following conventions apply to entity associations.
Within the
Detect
application, an entity is named with a single lower-case character.
A single entity can have multiple related data sources.
Data sources that are related are defined with a common identifier field.
