Emails during eMessage upgrade
When you upgrade eMessage, the eMessage mailing interface is not available. You cannot configure or start new mailings. Mailings that you have already started will run, but you cannot monitor, pause, or stop them.
Email responses during an upgrade
When you upgrade eMessage you must temporarily stop the RCT.
During the upgrade, you might experience some delay in the availability of mailing response data. However, the data is not lost. IBM® EMM Hosted Services queues response and contact data during the time that the RCT is stopped. When you restart the RCT, all the accumulated data is downloaded.
During the upgrade, individuals that received email during previous mailings encounter no changes in the availability of links in the email, the speed of response to link clicks, or web site requests. IBM® supports the functions with the resources that are maintained in IBM® EMM Hosted Services.
