Deleting security policies
You can delete user-created security policies in IBM® Campaign if the policies are not in use. You cannot delete the Global Policy.
Do not delete any security policies that have been applied to objects in IBM® Campaign.
To delete a security policy that is in use, first set the security policy of every folder or object that is using that security policy to a different policy (for example, the global policy). Otherwise, the objects using the deleted policy might become inaccessible. To change the security policy of an object, you must move the object into a folder with the desired security policy or into the top-level root folder.
Follow the steps below to delete a security policy that is not being used.
1.
Click Settings > User Roles & Permissions .
2.
Under the Campaign node, select the partition where you want to delete a security policy.
3.
Click the plus sign next to Global Policy.
4.
Click the policy that you want to delete.
5.
Click Delete Policy.
6.
Click OK to confirm the deletion.
