About email responses during an upgrade
Upgrading eMessage requires temporarily stopping the Response and Contact Tracker (RCT).
During the upgrade, you may experience some delay in the availability of mailing response data. This information is not lost. IBM® EMM Hosted Services queues response and contact data during the time that the RCT is stopped. When you restart the RCT, it downloads all of the accumulated information.
During the upgrade, individuals that received email during previous mailings will encounter no changes in the availability of links contained in the email, the speed of response to link clicks, or web site requests as a result of the upgrade activity. IBM® supports these functions with resources maintained in IBM® EMM Hosted Services.
