Problem or error: The following error occurs after you set roles during the
Campaign installation process.
Solution: Before you can log in to a new installation of
Campaign as a newly-created
IBM® EMM user, you must first log in to
Campaign as a user that already exists in the Campaign Administrators group in
IBM® EMM (for example, asm_admin). Assign at least one security role (for example, Global Policy/Admin) to your new user. Once the new user has been assigned the role, you can log in to
Campaign as that new user.
This error occurs when the Campaign server has not been restarted after you set roles for new
Marketing Platform users. To solve the problem, stop and restart the
Campaign server and the web application server.
