Problem or error: Company policy prevents users from downloading the ActiveX/OCX control required by Campaign.
Solution: IBM recommends that you set up a script to install the ActiveX control. If this is not possible, perform the following manual procedure.
To manually install the ActiveX control on user machines
1. You can use third-party archiving utilities such as WinZip or 7-Zip or the Java jar command to extract the WAR file.
2.
3. Extract the uacflowchart.cab file to the Downloaded Program Files directory (for example C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files). You can use the expand.exe command at a Windows prompt, some third-party archiving utilities such as WinZip or 7-Zip, or the Java jar command to extract the CAB file. The Downloaded Program Files directory is located under the system root. To locate the system root, you can open a command window and enter echo %systemroot%If you do not have permissions to write to the Downloaded Program Files directory, contact your network administrator to obtain them. If it is not possible to obtain the permissions, you can create a directory named Campaign_ocx on the local drive and extract the uacflowchart.cab file there. Continue with the steps below using this directory.
4. The regsvr32.exe command is installed automatically with your Windows operating system and is found in the system32 directory in your Windows directory. The clregsvr.exe command is contained in the uacflowchart.cab file, and is available after you expand the CAB file.
