Configuring additional settings for Marketing Platform
Additional configuration is required when IBM® Marketing Platform is integrated with an LDAP server, Windows™ Active Directory (Windows™ Integrated Login), or with a web access control system such as Tivoli® or SiteMinder.

Complete the following tasks to configure additional settings for Marketing Platform:

In Cognos® Configuration, set the flag Selectable for authentication to false for the Unica® authentication namespace.
When you set this flag to false, Cognos® Connection and Cognos® Administration cannot access the Unica® namespace for the purpose of authentication. However, IBM® EMM applications can still access the Unica® namespace via the Cognos® SDK API (for example, when users view Cognos® reports from within IBM® EMM applications).

If you need authenticated access to the Cognos® URL, complete the following tasks:
a.
In Cognos® Configuration, configure a namespace using the appropriate bundled authentication provider.
b.
Set Selectable for authentication to true.
c.
Use this new namespace for the Cognos® URL.
