Obtaining the JDBC driver for your database
A JDBC driver is required by the data filter generation utility (
datafilteringScriptTool
) when you use it to generate data filters automatically.
1.
Obtain the Type 4 JDBC driver that provides connectivity to the database containing the table on which you want to base your data filters.
2.
Place the driver on the machine where
Marketing Platform
is installed.
3.
Make a note of the class name and path.
