You may use only the following characters when you create role and policy names.

Upper and lower case alphabetic characters (A-Z)

Numbers (0-9)

Single quote (')
*
Hyphen (-)
*
Underscore (_)
*
The 'at' sign (@)
*
Forward slash (/)
*
Parenthesis
*
Colon (:)
*
Semi-colon (;)
*
Space (except as the first character)
*
Double byte characters (such as Chinese characters)
