Overview of the portlet creation process
This section provides an overview of the steps for creating a portlet, which are described in detail elsewhere in this guide.

1.
Obtain and prepare the URL of the page you want to use as a portlet.
To do this, you obtain the URL and modify it as needed.
You can create portlets from the following sources.

IBM® Cognos® report
*
IBM® Digital Analytics report
*
Digital Analytics for On Premises On Demand report and pages on the internet or your company intranet

Add the portlet to a dashboard.
