Contact Optimization basic installation checklist
Review this overview of the installation process and verify that your environment, planned order of installation, and knowledge levels fulfill the prerequisites.
The following list is a high-level overview of the steps that are required to perform a basic installation of IBM® Contact Optimization. Additional details about these steps are provided in the rest of this guide.
Install Contact Optimization
1.
Download the IBM® EMM and Contact Optimization installers.
2.
Gather the required information for the installation. You use this information to complete the installation wizard.
3.
After you install, deploy, and verify the IBM® Marketing Platform and IBM® Campaign, install Contact Optimization.
Configure Contact Optimization
1.
If the Contact Optimization installer was unable to connect to the Campaign system tables, use the provided SQL scripts to create and populate the Contact Optimization system tables in the Campaign database or schema.
2.
If the Contact Optimization installer was unable to register, use Marketing Platform utilities to register manually.
3.
If the Contact Optimization installer was unable to set the configuration properties, set required properties on the Settings > Configuration page.
4.
Start and verify the Contact Optimization server.
5.
In Campaign, map the Contact Optimization tables.
6.
Log on to Marketing Platform and confirm you can access Campaign > Contact Optimizations.
