Prerequisites for the Contact Optimization Utility
There are some requirements to complete before using the Contact Optimization utility.

The Campaign web application and Marketing Platform must be running.
*
The Contact Optimization server must have access to the HTTP(S) port of the Campaign web application.
*
Java™ must be installed on the Contact Optimization server.
*
The OPTIMIZE_HOME environment variable must be defined on the Contact Optimization server and point to your Contact Optimization installation directory.
*
The JAVA_HOME environment variable must be defined on the Contact Optimization server and point to where Java™ is installed.
