About projects and project requests
Your permission settings determine whether you create projects or project requests.
*
For example, to capture information about upcoming trade shows, you can create a project based on the Monthly Trade show template every month. Alternatively, you can select any existing trade show project and copy it. To create up to 99 different projects at once, you can select a project and clone it.
For more information, see To create a project, To copy a project or request, or To create projects by cloning.
*
After you create a project request, you submit it to an authorized individual; when the request is accepted IBM® Marketing Operations creates a project.
For example, a marketing manager can submit a project request to the CMO to have the request formally approved and turned into a project. A sales account manager can submit a project request to the marketing services department to request development and production of some specialized collateral.
For more information, see To create a request or To copy a project or request.
Projects and project requests can also be created from within a program.
After you create a project, you can start it at any time. Starting the project makes it active and you can view it in different views in IBM® Marketing Operations.
