About security policies and permissions
Security policies are made up of roles that reflect job titles or responsibilities. Each role in a security policy is a set of permissions: rules that grant or block user access to features and options in IBM® Marketing Operations. For example, you can configure security policies that ensure the following.
*
Managers have access to all the projects in their business units.
*
Users' access to projects is based on both their business unit and their job function.
*
Any object that is created in Marketing Operations: plan, program, project, request, and so on, is governed by a security policy. The security policy that is assigned to a new object is determined by the template that was used to create it.
