Custom marketing object types

You add a marketing object type to IBM® Marketing Operations before you create marketing object templates, and before users create instances of that type.

IBM® Marketing Operations does not offer a user interface for updating marketing object types after you add them. Before you begin, determine the state transitions that the marketing object type must offer and collect the information that you need.
