To add or edit a template
Before you create a template for a marketing object, review existing template components to see whether you can reuse any in the new template or if you need to create new components. Template components include metrics or metrics templates for tracking performance and financial data, attributes and forms for collecting data, and workflow templates for identifying and scheduling project management tasks.
When the template components you need are available, you can create the template. The steps to create a template are generally the same for each object type, with the following exceptions.
*
IBM® Operações de Marketing offers only one template for plans, one template for invoices, and one template for assets. You can edit these templates as needed, but you cannot create additional plan, invoice, or asset templates.
*
*
*
If IBM® Operações de Marketing-Campaign integration is enabled, you identify a project template as a campaign project template on the Campaign tab.
1.
Select Settings > Operações de Marketing Settings.
2.
In the System Administration | Other Options section, click Template Configuration then click Templates.
3.
4.
To create a template, click Add Template in that section. To edit an existing template, click its name.
5.
Supply data on the template Properties tab. This tab corresponds to the Summary tab in the instances that users create from this template. You must specify a template display name and an alphanumeric internal Template ID. For certain types of marketing objects, you also select a metrics template and set the security policy on this tab. For more information, see Template Properties tab.
6.
Click Save Changes on the Properties tab.
7.
*
Click Save Changes when you finish editing each tab, before you click another tab in the template. Otherwise, your changes are not saved.
* Applies to installations with IBM® Operações de Marketing-Campaign integration enabled only.
For more information about the options offered on each of these template tabs, see the sections in this chapter.
