You create and manage users and user groups in the IBM® Plataforma de Marketing. Then, in IBM® Operações de Marketing, you configure security policies that grant those users permissions to access various objects and parts of the product based on access roles.

Operações de Marketing provides security through several kinds of access roles and users are assigned access roles in different ways. For example, you and the other system administrators assign security policy roles to users from the User Permissions page, while people who create projects specify which users participate in which roles. But no matter how a user obtains an access role, the permissions granted to that role are determined by a security policy and someone who has not been assigned any roles is governed by the default security policy, Global.
