By default, Unica Marketing Operations updates the alert count every three minutes (180 seconds). You can change the default to any value you wish by editing the alertCountRefreshPeriodInSeconds parameter under Settings > Configuration > Unica Marketing Operations > umoConfiguration > notifications.
Decreasing the refresh interval may have performance implications in a multi-user environment.
