To create or edit a metrics template

1.	Navigate to the Metrics Templates screen of the Metric Editor.

Click:

Metrics Templates to create a new metrics template

The name of an existing metrics template to edit it.

3.	If adding a metrics template, click the Add Metric Template button.

4.	Enter or edit the Internal Name, Display Name, and Description fields.

5.	For the Type field, select the object that will use the metrics template: plan, program, or project.

Since there is only one template for plans, you should not define more than one metrics template with a type of plan.

6.	Click Apply to save the metrics template, or Reset to undo your changes and clear the entry fields.
