To create a specification file

1.	Start the Metrics Editor.

2.	From the File menu, select New.

3.	In the pop-up dialog, select Metrics.

Click OK.

5.	The Working Directory and Specification Name fields are filled in with your default working directory and a default filename, respectively. You can edit either field.

6.	Optionally, enter some descriptive text in the Description field.

7.	From the File menu, select Save.

A dialog appears allowing you to change the directory and/or name of the specification file.

You should not save specification files to a folder that is under your Unica Marketing Operations installation directory. Doing so can cause problems when exporting templates.
