Metric creation overview

In order to use a new metric, you must do the following.

1.	Navigate to Settings > Unica Marketing Operations settings > Template Configuration > Metrics Templates.

2.	Define metric dimensions.

3.	Define the metric.

4.	Place the metric into a group on a metrics template.

5.	If you want to localize the metrics, translate the properties file for each locale.

6.	Add the metrics template when you create plans, programs, and projects. The metrics in the template appear on the object's tracking tab.
