Before you install any IBM® EMM products, the Marketing Platform must be fully installed and deployed, so that the products you install can register their configuration properties and security roles, and you can set values for configuration properties on the Marketing Platform Configuration page.

In general, for each group of products that you plan to have work together, you need to install the Marketing Platform only once. However, for Interact, the best practice is for each production Interact server group have its own installation of Marketing Platform.
