The Interact 8.x runtime can run an Interact 7.x deployment; therefore you should upgrade your runtime environments before your design environment.
Also be aware that you must successfully upgrade Marketing Platform prior to or at the same time as the upgrade of any other
IBM® EMM product. You cannot upgrade any
IBM® EMM products without also upgrading
Marketing Platform to the compatible release.
