Information required for running the design environment upgrade tool (aciUpgradeTool)
Gather the following information about your Interact design environment installation before running the upgrade tool (aciUpgradeTool).
Target system configuration information

The name of the partition you are upgrading
*
The directory where Marketing Platform is installed
*
Full path of the Campaign configuration file (campaign_configuration.xml). This file is located in the conf directory under your Campaign installation.
If you connect to the design environment system tables using the web application server, collect the following information.

Host name
*
Port
*
User name
*
Password
*
For WebLogic: Full path and file name of the WebLogic jar file
If you connect to the design environment system tables using JDBC, collect the following information.
*
Java™ class name for the JDBC driver
*
JDBC URL
*
Additional properties required by the JDBC driver
*
Database username and password
Target design environment database information
*
Catalog (or database) containing the target design environment system tables
*
Schema
*
Whether or not the tables are configured for Unicode
Interact Design Time installation on source system
*
Version of Interact Design Time you are upgrading from
