To register IBM® Interact design environment manually

If the Interact installer cannot connect to the Marketing Platform database to register the product, run the configTool utility, using the following example commands as guidelines. This imports menu items and sets configuration properties. Note that you run the utility as many times as there are files. Because there is one file, you must run the utility one time.

configTool -i -p "Affinium|suite|uiNavigation|mainMenu|Campaign" -f "full_path_to_Interact_DT_installation_directory\interactDT\conf\interact_navigation.xml"

configTool -v -i -o -p "Affinium|Campaign|about" -f "full_path_to_Interact_DT_installation_directory\interactDT\conf\interact_subcomponent_version.xml"

The Interact design environment configuration properties are included with the configuration properties for Campaign.

You may need to manually enable Interact by setting the Campaign > partitions > partition[n] > server > Internal > interactInstalled configuration property to yes.
