About deleting recipient lists
You delete a recipient list by deleting the eMessage process used to create the list. Deleting the eMessage process from your local Campaign installation removes the corresponding Output List Table (OLT) and associated metadata in the IBM® EMM Hosted Services environment.
Removing the OLT affects the configuration of every mailing that references the list. The system updates each mailing to indicate that the mailing no longer references a recipient list.
How and when the recipient list ceases to be available to the mailing depends on whether the mailing is active or inactive. You cannot delete a recipient list from a mailing that is currently active. The mailing activity must complete before the system allows the list to be fully deleted.
After you delete a recipient list, it no longer appears in the list of recipient lists that you can reference in a mailing.
