About interactions with non-ASCII databases
When an application communicates with a database, several language-sensitive areas must be understood between them, including:

Campaign and PredictiveInsight communicate directly with the database client and the client communicates with the database. Each database varies in how it handles language-sensitive data. You must understand the encoding and date format that your database server and client use, and ensure that you configure your Unica® application correctly for these settings.
