Step: Configure the IBM® Cognos® application's firewall

To configure the IBM® Cognos® firewall, you specify the IBM® Unica Marketing system as a valid domain or host and disable validation.

1.	In Cognos® Configuration, select Security > IBM Cognos Application Firewall.

2.	Set Enable CAF validation to false.

3.	In the valid domains or hosts property, enter the fully qualified machine host name, including the domain and the port, for the system where the Marketing Platform is running.

If you have a distributed IBM® Unica Marketing environment, you must do this for every machine on which an IBM® Unica Marketing product that renders Cognos® reports is installed (for example, the Marketing Platform, which has dashboards; Campaign; and Marketing Operations).

4.	Save the configuration.

5.	Restart the IBM® Cognos® service.
